Derek Roddy (August 28, 1972) Drummer asal Amerika, South Carolina. Mantan drummer dari band Hate Eternal, dia juga bermain untuk band lain diantaranya; Aurora Borealis, Council of the Fallen, Traumedy, Blotted Science. Pada 2010 Roddy merupakan 1 dari 7 drummer yang mengikuti audisi untuk menggantikan Mike Portnoy sebagai drummer Dream Theater.
Sejak keluar dari Hate Eternal pada 2006, dia aktif menjadi drummer klinik untuk beberapa perusahaan, termasuk Meinl Cymbals, Vater Percussion, dan Sonor Drums sebelum akhirnya beralih ke DW Drums
